6 Pillars of Terrific Character Development and Learning for Life Discoveries
FOLSOM's Character Education Program
Character Education is an important program at Folsom Elementary. Students will learn and model several character traits throughout the school year. We will focus on the 6 Pillars of Character and incorporate the Learning for Life Discoveries program into the guidance curriculum each month throughout the year. As students learn and develop these character traits and understand basic right from wrong, they will know the expectations of the learning environment. It will help to build a much more responsible and caring community of learning and respect for each other. Students will receive a challenge each week ont he t.v. announcements for each monthly
trait we emphasize and get involved in fun character building activities throughout the school year. Watch as our students SOAR with Character!
